Amendments to Last Trading Day and Expiry Dates for SGX CNH Contracts Due to Typhoon

Super Typhoon Mangkhut is forecast to enter the South China Sea in the next few days.

In the event that the Hong Kong Treasury Markets Association (TMA) is unable to publish the USD/CNY (HK) Spot Rate on Monday, 17 September 2018, Singapore Exchange (SGX) will make the following amendments to the Last Trading Day and Expiry Dates for SGX USD/CNH FX Futures and Options and SGX SGD/CNH FX Futures September 2018 contracts:

1. The Exchange is advised by approximately 10.30AM Singapore time on Monday, 17 September 2018 that Hong Kong TMA will not be publishing the USD/CNY (HK) Spot Rate that day.

To be changed from Monday, 17 September 2018 to Tuesday, 18 September 2018.*

2. The Exchange is advised after approximately 10.30AM Singapore time on Monday, 17 September 2018 that Hong Kong TMA will not be publishing the USD/CNY (HK) Spot Rate that day.

Last Trading Day remains as Monday, 17 September 2018.

Expiry Day to be changed from Monday, 17 September 2018 to Tuesday, 18 September 2018.*


*Margining for expiring contracts will continue till the revised Expiry Day. The Final Settlement Price for SGX USD/CNH FX Futures and SGX SGD/USD FX Futures will be determined based on the HK TMA USD/CNY (HK) Spot Rate published on the revised Expiry Day.
